Marigold Bakery and Cafe began in June of 1998. We make everything from scratch. From our caramel pecan rolls to our focaccia bread to our warm soups, we make all of our products to satisfy our taste buds so they'll impress yours. FROM MISSOURI If you come to Marigold Bakery over the Missouri Bridge, take a right on 10th Street, then a right on Commercial Street, and park in front of the bakery between 7th and 8th. If you are coming from Leavenworth or Topeka (Highway 73), this turns into 10th Street. Take a right on Commercial Street and park in front of the bakery between 7th and 8th. Note: If you are coming from Topeka, Highway 59 intersects with Highway 73 at 10th Street.
We are open Monday to Saturday from 7:3o a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A hometown favorite is our Kansas Coffeecake, which was a favorite recipe of the owner, Susan Turnball's, mother. We make it fresh every morning and now because so many people have asked for the recipe, we've developed it into a mix to sell at the bakery...and that's how our line of cookie and soup mixes came to be.
We are located in downtown Atchison at 715 Commercial Street.
